UF ECC employs full-time early childhood teachers. We seek well-trained, knowledgeable, compassionate educators committed to providing exceptional care and early education to young children. UF ECC also hires recent graduates in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Child and Family Studies, and related fields who have demonstrated the potential to develop into top quality childcare and early education professionals.
Child Development Teachers at UF ECC work and collaborate with a diverse, family-oriented team within our program as well as across the broader University of Florida community. In this role, teachers have the opportunity to design their own lessons, engage in research, deliver presentations to others in the early childhood field, and to learn and grow in their careers through tailored professional development opportunities including individualized Practice Based Coaching, training and development through the University, and access to University Employee Education Program and TEACH scholarships to further their education or credentials.
