In 2011, Baby Gator began an annual field day tradition to promote health and physical activity for families and the community. Field day provides a family friendly learning environment outside of school that shows everyone how simple activities can be fun and get the whole family moving.  On October 21st, Baby Gator hosted their 6th annual field day! This year, staff and families from Baby Gator, Holy Trinity, St. Patrick’s, My School, First United Methodist, and the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County came together to participate in this day of fun for all ages. Over 200 families (close to 600 people total) gathered for relay races, obstacle courses, infant play areas, face painting, sack races, and so much more. It was a wonderful collaboration with all of these centers and organizations to provide families with a fun, active morning.  Thank you to all of our volunteers and sponsors for making this event such a success!
