Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play an active role at Baby Gator. Volunteers read, play, talk, and assist in the classroom, on the playground, and during meals, snacks, and rest time.

Volunteers must commit to at least 2 hours per week.

To volunteer call or email the person listed below at the center you choose to volunteer.

  • Lake Alice—Contact Robin Stabel at 352-392-2330 or via email at robindpierce@ufl.edu. She will instruct you about what action to take on background screening, depending on the number of hours you need to volunteer.

When you have specific instructions, download the Baby Gator Lake Alice volunteer packet (PDF) and complete all the forms – then call the contact person listed above to schedule your orientation.

  • Newell Drive (Health Science Center)—Contact Courtney Coleman at 352-273-8000 or via email at jazz18@ufl.edu. She will instruct you about what action to take on background screening, depending on the number of hours you need to volunteer.
